
5th Annual Mitten Toss a Huge Success

Green Bay Gamblers News Release
On Saturday night (12/28) the Green Bay Gamblers collected a record 1,487 pairs of mittens and gloves during the 5th Annual Warm Hearts for Warm Hands Mitten Toss presented by Fox Communities Credit Union.
The 4,007 in attendance tossed the mittens on the ice when veteran forward Sebastian Weberg tallied the Gamblers first goal.
All mittens collected were given to Green Bay elementary schools.
In addition to the mittens collected, the Gamblers and Fox Communities Credit Union raised $2,816 for the Tank Elementary School's Weekend Back Pack Program. The money was raised through ticket proceeds and a 50/50 raffle.
In five years hosting the Warm Hearts for Warm Hands Mitten Toss the Gamblers and Fox Communities credit Union have collected over 6,041 mittens for the community.
