25 AHL players among THN's Top 50 Prospects

The Hockey News has released its annual list of NHL-affiliated prospects, and half of its Top 50 have played in the American Hockey League this season.
The list appears as part of the publication's Future Watch 2003 issue, which is on sale now.
The Future Watch Top 50 prospect ranking was determined by a panel of 14 NHL executives. Of the 25 American Hockey League players on the list, Jason Spezza of the Binghamton Senators ranks highest (#3), and is one of seven Top Prospects who competed in last week's 2003 Dodge AHL All-Star Classic.
