23 Former USHL Players Named to 2024 Tim Taylor "Watch List"
Published on February 2, 2024 under United States Hockey League (USHL) News Release
A "Watch List" of 32 first-year NCAA men's hockey players was announced by the Hockey Commissioners Association for the Tim Taylor Rookie of the Year and several former players from the USHL appear front and center.
23 of 32 the players appearing on the list are former USHL players.
At season's end, a ballot consisting of each Division I conference's Rookie of the Year will be presented to the assistant coaches of all of the NCAA Division I teams and they will vote, one vote per school, to identify the winner. This year's National Rookie of the Year will be announced during April's Frozen Four in St. Paul, Minn.
Including last year's winner, Adam Fantilli, who played for the Chicago Steel from 2020-22, 13 former USHL players have won the Tim Taylor Award since its inception in 2007.
