2024 USL Championship Slate Unveiled

CARY, N.C. - The North Carolina FC schedule for the 2024 USL Championship campaign has been announced. The 34-match slate was unveiled as part of a league-wide schedule release by the league office on Monday.
North Carolina FC begins their first campaign in the return to the Championship with a Carolina Clash, hosting the Charleston Battery at WakeMed Soccer Park on March 9. Three of NCFC's first four - and seven of the first 10 - fixtures of the season are at home.
North Carolina FC hosts the Tampa Bay Rowdies on March 23 and Hartford Athletic on March 29. They play their first road match on March 16, visiting Loudon United FC.
North Carolina FC has a mostly balanced schedule, never hosting more than two consecutive home fixtures and - outside of one three-match road trip, which is broken up by a bye week, in May - never have more than two straight road matches. The team will finish the regular season on their home turf, hosting Las Vegas Lights FC on October 26.
The league also announced on Monday that, to maintain two 12-team conferences, Memphis 901 FC and FC Tulsa will move to the Western Conference this season and Rio Grande Valley FC will not return to the USL Championship in 2024.
At the conclusion of the regular season, the top eight teams in each conference will qualify for the 2024 USL Championship Playoffs, which will kick off on the weekend of November 1-3.
The USL Championship Playoffs will remain a single-elimination, fixed bracket format. The postseason will culminate in the 2024 USL Championship Final on CBS on a to-be determined date between November 21-25.
