Carter Sotheran is a puck-moving defenseman who is eager to hear his name called early at the 2023 NHL Draft. He ranked second in the WHL among rookie defensemen with 23 points in 68 games and subsequently was named the Winterhawks Rookie of the Year. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound native of Sanford, Man. has the tools to contribute at the professional level.
