
2020 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League Quarterfinal Schedule Announced

ATLANTA - The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) today unveiled the dates and kickoff times for the Quarterfinals of the 2020 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League. Atlanta United, which defeated FC Motagua in the Round of 16, will travel to Estadio Azteca in Mexico City to take on Club América for the first leg on Wednesday, March 11 (10:30 p.m. EST) with the return leg scheduled to be played at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw on Wednesday, March 18 (8:15 p.m. EST).
Atlanta United qualified for the Quarterfinal round with a 4-1 aggregate victory against FC Motagua. Pity Martinez and Josef Martinez combined for two goals and two assists each in the two-legged series. Club América needed penalty kicks to advance past Comunicaciones F.C. in the Round of 16. Both legs finished with a 1-1 score, while América secured a 5-3 victory in penalty kicks to advance.
The winner of the elite club competition will earn the right to represent the Confederation in the 2020 FIFA Club World Cup and will replace C.F. Monterrey as the regional champion.
First leg Quarterfinal matches are scheduled to be played March 10-12, followed by second leg matches a week later, March 17-18. The semifinals and first leg final will be played in April (7-9, 14-16 and 28-30). The second leg final, where a new champion will be crowned, will be played May 5-7, 2020.

Fans will be able to enjoy all the action through the Confederation's partner networks, including FOX / TUDN (United States), Fox Sports Latin America (Mexico & Central America), ESPN (Central America), TSN and RDS (Canada), Flow Sports (Caribbean) and other local partners. For other territories, the event will be available on Concacaf GO (subject to territory restrictions).
