Kepler was also selected to both the Futures and the Southern League All-Star Games. Over a season that saw many of Chattanooga's bigger names move classifications, Kepler was a consistent star for the Twins Double-A affiliate.

MOST OUTSTANDING PITCHER - Jorge Lopez, RHP, Biloxi Shuckers

With a league-low 1.10 WHIP and .205 batting average against, Biloxi Shuckers righty Jorge Lopez cruised to the 2015 Southern League Most Outstanding Pitcher award. Over 23 games started and 137.2 innings pitched, Lopez is tied for the league lead at 12 wins, while sitting second with a 2.29 ERA and third with 134 strikeouts. The Cayey, Puerto Rico native and resident has been the ace of the loop's ERA-leading (3.20) Shuckers pitching staff. The righty has tossed at least 5.2 innings in each of his 14 starts since June 2 and struck out six batters or more in 11 of those contests. Selected by the Brewers in the second round of the 2011 draft, Lopez was chosen to the 2014 Futures Game before getting the nod to the 2015 Southern League All-Star Game.

MANAGER OF THE YEAR - Carlos Subero, Biloxi Shuckers

Guiding his club through an unofficial 54-game road trip to begin the season, Carlos Subero, a veteran skipper in the Southern circuit, earned his first League Manager of the Year honors. Through 132 games this season, the Caracas, Venezuela native has produced the league's best overall record at 76-56 (.576). Over the first half of the season, most of which came from the road, the Shuckers earned a postseason berth by capturing the South Division's first half title with a 43-25 record (.632). Over six Southern League campaigns between Birmingham, Chattanooga, Huntsville and Biloxi, Subero has compiled a 442-383 record (.536). This year will mark the fifth time in his six seasons at the helm that Subero has taken his club to the Southern League playoffs.
