2015 NASL Spring Season Schedule Released

CARY, NC (December 17, 2014) - The Carolina RailHawks and the North American Soccer League announced today their 2015 NASL Spring Season Schedule. The 2015 NASL Spring Season will see each of the 11 NASL clubs play a 10-game schedule consisting of five home games and five away games. The RailHawks will open the 2015 season at WakeMed Soccer Park on Saturday, April 4th when they host Canadian rival, Ottawa Fury FC, at 1:00pm.

"We are thrilled to be able to announce our Spring Season schedule prior to the holidays and feel it is an attractive one for fans. We look forward to our home opener against Ottawa on April 4th at 1PM. We are working very hard this off-season and plan to have a team that is fun to watch and wins a lot, as well as a game day experience that is one of a kind in North Carolina and reflects the long and successful professional soccer history in our great state," said RailHawks President, Curt Johnson.

The 2015 RailHawks Spring Season schedule will include five home games. The RailHawks will face Ottawa Fury FC (4/4), Atlanta Silverbacks (4/18), Tampa Bay Rowdies (5/2), New York Cosmos (5/16) and Minnesota United FC (6/6). All game times and the 2015 RailHawks television and radio broadcast schedule will be announced in early 2015. The remainder of the 2015 schedule (Fall Season) will be announced soon.

In addition to a very talented RailHawks roster, NASL teams across the country and Canada continue to sign and attract exciting players such as former Real Madrid & Spanish national team forward Raul (New York Cosmos), current U.S. Men's National Team player Miguel Ibarra (Minnesota United), and former RailHawks & NASL Golden Boot Winner Brian Shriver (Tampa Bay Rowdies) in addition to many others.

The league will operate under the same competition format as last year, with the Spring Season Champion and Fall Season Champion accounting for the top two seeds in The Championship, the league's four-team postseason tournament.

In addition to the NASL Spring Regular Season Schedule, the RailHawks will also be participating in the 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. More information about the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup will be available early next year.
