
2015 Home Season Ends With 6-2 Win

Rome, GA - The Rome Braves concluded the 2015 home schedule with a 6-2 win over the Greenville Drive Wednesday at State Mutual Stadium.
The Braves posted two runs in the first on Braxton Davidson's run scoring double and Tanner Murphy's RBI single. Greenville tied the game in the second inning on J.T. Watkins' two run single but Rome regained the edge in the bottom of the frame with two runs thanks to Joseph Daris' RBI single and a sacrifice fly by Jordan Edgerton for the 4-2 score. The Braves added two insurance runs in the seventh and picked up the 6-2 win. Rome banged out 14 hits in the game and the pitching staff did not allow an earned run while scattering nine hits.
Oriel Caicedo (5-7) gets the victory and Jalen Beeks (9-6) the loss.
