LOVES PARK, IL - The Frontier League of Professional Baseball has released the 2015 schedule today, setting the scene for the upcoming season.
The Rockford Aviators, presented by Pearson, look to continue to improve their record for the third straight season in hopes of making a playoff push.
The Aviators will start the season on the road May 15 with a three-game series against the Gateway Grizzlies.
Aviators fans will get their first chance to see the 2015 squad on Opening Day at Aviators Stadium on May 19 against the Traverse City Beach Bums.
This season's schedule features fifty-one home games for the Aviators that include nine weekend series.
"We are extremely excited to have nine weekend series this season," said Aviators General Manager Brad Sholes. "Our next step is to put together a promotional calendar that will create an exciting atmosphere for our fans."
The 2015 Frontier League All-Star Break will take place July 13-16 with the All-Star Game being played on July 15 at Boomers Stadium in Schaumburg.
Game times and the 2015 Promotional Calendar will be released at a later date.
