The Swift Current Broncos held their annual Awards Banquet last night (Monday, March 17th, 2008) at the Credit Union i-plex auditorium where hardware was handed out in 16 different categories. The 2007/08 list of winners is:

- CJFB TV/Julie Forst Memorial Trophy for MVP Season - Zack Smith

- Tom Ham Memorial Trophy for Top Defenseman - Michael Wilson

- MacBean/Tessem Trophy for Top Scorer - Zack Smith

- Trophy Towne Award for Most Sportsmanlike Player - David Stieler

- Standard Motors Award for Rookie of the Year - Cody Eakin

- Gord May Memorial Trophy for Scholastic Award - Geordie Wudrick

- Pioneer Coop Trophy for Most Improved Player - Matt Tassone

- Innovation Credit Union Trophy for Coaches Award - Bretton Stamler

- Charlotte Letkeman Memorial Award for Desire and Sportsmanship - Cody Eakin

- Warrens Funeral Home Award for Leadership and Maturity - Bretton Stamler

- Swift Current Hockey Hounds Award for Humanitarian of the Year - Levi Nelson

- Wheatland Mall 3 Star Award - 1st - Travis Yonkman, 2nd - Keegan Dansereau, 3rd - Dale Weise

- Western Financial Group Ltd. Trophy for Players Most Popular - Zack Smith

- Barkers Jewellery Award for Fans Most Popular - Dale Weise

- Jay Dee Equipment Award for King of the Road - Zack Smith

- RBC Financial Group Award for Chairman of the Boards - Dale Weise

The Broncos would like to thank all those in attendance for last night's awards banquet and wish a special thank you to the Hockey Hounds for their efforts in planning another successful banquet.
