Montreal, Apr. 19, 2005 - Montreal Alouettes Vice-President and General Manager Jim Popp and Assistant General Manager Marcel Desjardins are ready for the 2006 CFL Draft to be held this Thursday, Apr. 20 at 12 p.m.
The Alouettes will have a total of six selections over the six rounds of the draft, including the seventh overall pick. The experts will have to keep an eye on the Alouettes until the very end, as the team boasts 22 Canadian draft picks on its current roster including 17 who were selected directly by the Alouettes and three sixth-round picks in Michael Botterill, Dave Stala and Adam Eckert.
