
Redmond to leave CFL

TORONTO, ON (April 19, 2006) - The Canadian Football League announced today that Alexis Redmond, the CFL's Director, Communications, will be leaving her post at the League on May 05, 2006.
In her three years at the CFL, she worked diligently to upgrade the League's approach to managing its media programs, exemplified by the introduction of the National Media Standards Protocol now in force across the League. Redmond presided over the CFL's media portfolio during a period of rapid change for the League, highlighted by exceptional business and brand growth and marked by significant ownership change.
The League will announce Ms. Redmond's replacement in due course.
