Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - Approximately one week after sales began, the Montreal Impact announced on Monday that over 20,000 tickets have been sold for its home opener at the Olympic Stadium, on Saturday, March 12, at 4pm ET, against the New York Red Bulls.
"We're satisfied with the sales thus far, as they amount to a nearly full Stade Saputo," said Impact Executive Vice-President Richard Legendre. "Bleu-blanc-noir supporters are eager to see their team again after such a great 2015. We're counting on our No. 12 to support us on the way to success at home."
Family Corner Nutrilait tickets are already sold out.
Excellent lower-bowl seats are still available, starting at $29 (including taxes, plus service charge). Season tickets starting at only $339, as well as Pick-4-Packs, are still available on impactmontreal.com.
In the meantime, the Impact will play its third game in the Rowdies Suncoast Invitational against Toronto FC, this Wednesday at 4pm ET in St. Petersburg. Its last game in Florida is scheduled for Saturday, February 27, at 7pm ET, against Tampa Bay. Both games will be broadcast live on impactmontreal.com.
The Montreal Impact will then play its 2016 season opener on Sunday, March 6, at Vancouver's BC Place, at 5:30pm ET (RDS, TSN).
