Galaxy host Santos Laguna Wednesday at StubHub Center in first leg of CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal match

CARSON, Calif. (Monday, Feb. 22, 2016) - The LA Galaxy begin play in the 2015-16 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League this week at StubHub Center. The Galaxy will host Santos Laguna in the first leg of the quarterfinal series on Wednesday, Feb. 24, at StubHub Center, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. PT live on Fox Sports 1 and Univision Deportes Network.

Tickets to the LA Galaxy's Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal fixture against Santos Laguna are on sale now at www.lagalaxy.com/tickets or by calling an LA Galaxy representative at 877-3GALAXY (342-5299). The Galaxy face Santos Laguna for a chance to advance to tournament's semifinal.

In all-time SCCL competition, the Galaxy are 15-8-5, scoring 52 goals and allowing 32. The Galaxy continue to lead all U.S. teams in SCCL wins (15) and goals scored (52) all time. LA are 6-2-2 in their last 10 SCCL games overall with five shutouts during that span.

The CONCACAF Champions League is the region's most prestigious club tournament, qualifying its champion directly to the FIFA Club World Cup. LA are set to make their fourth trip to the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals. In the second leg of the SCCL quarterfinals, the Galaxy will travel to Estadio Corona Torreon in Mexico to face Laguna on Tuesday, March 1, at 7 p.m. PT.

The LA Galaxy will kick off the 2016 MLS Regular Season at StubHub Center on Sunday, March 6, against D.C. United (7 p.m. PT, UniMás).
