
1st Round Pick Bohm Joins Williamsport

The Philadelphia Phillies have announced that 2018 1st round draft choice 3B Alec Bohm has been promoted to the Williamsport Crosscutters.
Bohm, 21, was the third overall pick in the draft out of Wichita State. He hit .339 with 16 home runs and 55 RBI this past season for the Shockers. In three games for the GCL Phillies (West), Bohm hit .500 (5 for 10) with 2 RBI and a stolen base.
A native of Omaha, Neb., Bohm was named a Baseball America Second-Team All-American, as well as a semifinalist for both the Dick Howser Trophy, given to the nation's college player of the year, and the Golden Spikes Award.
Bohm joins the Cutters on the road for a three game series in Mahoning Valley (OH) before the team returns home on Thursday, June 28 to face the State College Spikes.
