
13,000 Expected For Bulldogs' School Day Game

HAMILTON, ONT. - The Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Club announced today 13,000 young hockey fans are expected fill FirstOntario Centre tomorrow morning for the Bulldogs' annual School Day Game against the Rochester Americans at 10:15 a.m.
Students and teachers from several schools from the Hamilton, Halton and Niagara regions will attend the game as part of curriculum to promote literacy. In conjunction with the Bulldogs, students read Roch Carrier's The Hockey Sweater and had in-class activities associated with the book. Tomorrow's game will feature in-game elements related to the curriculum.
School boards attending tomorrow's game include: District School Board of Niagara, Grand Erie District School Board, Halton District School Board, Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board, Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, Niagara Catholic District School Board and Upper Grand District School Board, as well as other private and independent schools.
The attendance total will exceed last year's School Day Game, which hosted 12,185 people and was the highest-attended home game in 2013-14.
Tickets for tomorrow's game are not available to the general public and flex packs aren't available for redemption. Season ticket holders will be accommodated.
