Colorado Eagles News Release
LOVELAND, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles announced today that all of their games -- home and away -- will once again be broadcast on 107.9 The Bear (KPAW-FM). This is the 7th year in a row that the Clear Channel Communications station will be the radio home of the Eagles. 107.9 The Bear is also Northern Colorado's home for Classic Rock with a signal that stretches throughout Eagles Country -- from Southern Wyoming to Denver, Colo. -- and can also be heard online .
In addition to carrying every Eagles game, The Bear also broadcasts the Colorado Eagles Coach's Show from Lucky Joe's Sidewalk Saloon in Old Town Fort Collins on select Monday evenings throughout the hockey season when the team's travel schedule allows (schedule below). This year's Coach's Show will run from 6-6:30, with the first 10 minutes live on the air and the rest able to be heard on location or via the Colorado Eagles mobile app.
Fans are encouraged to come to Lucky Joe's to meet the Eagles players in attendance (they'll be there starting at 5:30), get autographs, win prizes and stay up-to-date on all the news about the team, while also enjoying the venue's great food and drink specials!
When the team is on the road and unable to hold a Coach's Show, fans can still tune into The Bear on Monday mornings during the 8 o-clock hour (date and time subject to change) to hear Doc interviewing a member of the team's Hockey Ops department in the "Report From the Road." Each of the Report From the Road segments will then be archived on the team's web site .
"We'd like to congratulate the Colorado Eagles on their 10th anniversary in Northern Colorado, and we're happy to be a part of it," said Doc Jarnagin, Program Director for 107.9 The Bear. "The Bear has been rocking Northern Colorado for nearly 20 years, and together with the Eagles, we're the veteran team sports fans dream about. Your proud home of the Colorado Eagles is 107.9 The Bear. Rock On!"
