June 15, 2023 - Southern League (SL)
Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
The Rocket City Trash Pandas scored five unanswered runs to snap the Lookouts' win streak. Chattanooga's lead in the North Division is now back to just a half-game over the Tennesse Smokies.
Tonight's game was a back-and-forth affair. The Lookouts scored first, but Rocket City answered right away with three runs in the top of the second. Homers by Rece Hinds, Blake Dunn, and Francisco Urbaez gave the Lookouts a 4-3 lead in the fourth. The 430-foot blast by Hinds was his fourth homer in his last three games and the fourth over 400 feet.
Both teams traded runs in the fifth and sixth to give the Lookouts the 7-6 lead. At the top of the eighth, Rocket City turned the tide on a Kevin Maitan two-run double. In the ninth, they broke the game wide open with a Livan Soto RBI single and an Orlando Martinez two-run double.
Tomorrow, Chattanooga aims to start another win streak with Joe Boyle on the mound. The first pitch is at 7:15 p.m.
