
: Havoc Score Four in Second to Beat Rivermen

HUNTSVILLE, AL- The Havoc score the game's first goal and add four in the second to beat the Peoria Rivermen by a final of 6-1 at the Peoria Civic Center.
Huntsville grabbed the lead 92 seconds into the opening frame with a goal off the stick of Jeff Jones. Less than five minutes later, the Rivermen tied it with their lone power play goal of the night. In the second, Stuart Stefan picked up his first of three assists on the night with a feed up ice to Dylan Nowakowski who then sent it over to Sy Nutkevitch. Minutes later, Louie Educate picked up his first of two on the night with a goal at 4:15 into the middle frame.
Educate made it a 4-1 game for the Havoc eleven minutes later with an unassisted goal.
"It felt good to contribute and to come in and be a part of the team," said Educate. "We had to keep doing what we were doing in the offensive zone and keep the foot on the petal."
That was all Peoria head coach Jean-Guy Trudel wanted to see for his started as he pulled Storm Phaneuf for Shannon Szabados. It proved little too late for the Rivermen as the Havoc scored their fourth of the period and fifth of the night when a shot off the stick of Michael Piluso went in with 2:43 left in the middle frame.
In the third, the Havoc on a five-on-three powerplay opportunity as the clock wind down with less than a minute left, defenseman Zach Carriveau ripped a shot off the cross bar and pass Szabados for the sixth and final goal of the evening for Huntsville.
Notable Stats: Adam Courchaine, who came into tonight 5-5-1 all-time in his career against Peoria stopped 24 of 25 to register his first win in a Havoc uniform.
Stuart Stefan, with three assists in tonight's game now has seven goals and eight assists in his career against the Rivermen.
Four different players ended the night with multiple points in the game.
Next up for the Havoc, game two of a two-game weekend road trip to Peoria to take on the Rivermen.
