Six Appalachian League Alumni Selected to Arizona Fall League Rosters

October 2, 2026 - CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Six Appalachian League alumni will represent their Major League organizations at the 2026 Arizona Fall League (AFL) beginning Saturday, Oct. 3. The AFL is regarded as the premier league for baseball's top prospects to put their talents on display. San Diego Padres No. 26 prospect Alex McCoy (ELZ '22) will play for Peoria. August 14, 2026 - CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Appalachian League announced the 2026 All-Appalachian League Team. The 2026 team is highlighted by Burlington's Brandon Novy, the Player of the Year, and Johnson City's Julien Hachem, the Pitcher of the Year.
