July 19, 2026 - GREENEVILLE, Tenn. - Elizabethton never trailed in a much-needed 12-3 victory against Greeneville at Eastman Credit Union Ballpark. The River Riders won their first game since July 9th.
How it Happened:
Both teams scored their first runs in the second inning. Eli Evans rolled an RBI groundout for Elizabethton, and Mark Sackermann got a big bounce off a chopped ball in the infield for an RBI single. The 1-1 score did not last for long.

July 19, 2026 - KINGSPORT, Tenn. - The Johnson City Doughboys won their fourth game in a row in dramatic fashion, taking a 3-2 victory over the Kingsport Axmen on Sunday afternoon after seven innings.
Doughboys starter Hunter Crain delivered an incredible start in just his third start of the summer, going 6 1/3 innings of two-run baseball with seven strikeouts to his total. His appearance, which was two outs away from being a complete game, also included three 1-2-3 innings.

While the offense was incredible, it was the pitching that set the tone early in the matchup. Doughboys starter Ryan Weller started off his first three innings scoreless, totaling six strikeouts to only two runs after four.
