August 9, 2025 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - Behind a strong outing from lefty Kobe Foster, who spun seven shutout frames for his fifth win of the season, Washington grabbed a pair of multi-RBI performances from its bats and won 4-0 to win the weekend series over Gateway.
Both starters were great until the game's first run scored in the bottom of the fifth on a solo homer by Jeff Liquori, his second homer in as many nights. The Wild Things chased Zac Treece from the game in the sixth on an RBI double by Ethan Wilder that made it 2-0.

August 8, 2025 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things opened a three-game series against the Gateway Grizzlies with a win on Friday night at EQT Park by a score of 14-1. A four-run first and a seven-run eighth were more than enough to secure the win for Washington behind starter Zach Kirby who only allowed one run to the visiting Grizzlies in his fourth quality start of the season.

August 7, 2025 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - On a walk-off fielder's choice in the 10th inning off the bat of Nolan Wilson, Washington salvaged a game in the weekday series against Windy City by taking the finale 2-1. Wilson's fielder's choice scored Eddie Hacopian from third, on a would-be inning-ending double play ball that saw the return throw skip in and out of the glove of first baseman Daryl Ruiz.

August 6, 2025 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - On Wednesday evening, the Washington Wild Things dropped their second-consecutive game against the Windy City ThunderBolts at EQT Park, falling 3-1. A strong pitching performance from Windy City prevented the Wild Things from scoring more than one run in the loss.
The game remained scoreless through four innings until the ThunderBolts' Josh Gibson hit a two-out double along the left field line that led to Zach Beadle's RBI single into left field, giving the ThunderBolts a 1-0 lead in the top of the fift... Full Story
