May 6, 2025 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things have signed outfielder Robert Chayka to the active roster, in a series of roster moves made Tuesday in advance of the season beginning on Friday in Crestwood.
Chayka is set to return to the Wild Things after playing with the club in 2023 and 2024, before a late-season trade sent him to the Windy City ThunderBolts in exchange for RHP Hunter DuPuy, who is currently on Washington's inactive list with an injury. April 23, 2025 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Washington Wild Things selected two pitchers, one righty and one lefty, in today's Frontier League Draft, which was hosted by the Windy City ThunderBolts. The team picked righty Nick McClanahan in the first round with the final overall pick of the 18-pick round. The club then grabbed left hander Jake Carroll in the second round.

April 22, 2025 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - After another successful Three Rivers Celebrity Softball Game in 2024, the Wild Things, The Heyward House, Steelers defensive lineman Cameron Heyward and The Coury Firm have teamed up for the fifth installment of the game, coming Monday, July 14 to EQT Park. The 5th Annual Three Rivers Celebrity Softball Game, presented by The Coury Firm, will benefit The Heyward House: the Cameron Heyward Foundation.

April 17, 2025 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - Prior to the start of what was the final season on manager Tom Vaeth's contract, the Wild Things and the skipper have agreed to terms on an extension that tacks on two seasons to the end of his deal, which was a new contract for the 2022 season. Vaeth will enter his fifth season as field manager in 2025 and the new deal ties him to the club through the 2027 season.
