Sharks Pick up All IFL Rookie DB and Dual Threat RB/WR

February 2, 2026 - Jacksonville, FL - The Sharks have added two more pieces ahead of the upcoming season, announcing the signings of ALL IFL Rookie DB Chris Chukwuneke and RB/WR Kevin Davis Jr ., further strengthening an already competitive roster. Chukwuneke (5'11, 193 lbs.) played his full collegiate career at James Madison University, becoming a mainstay in their defensive rotation. Strike Force Sign Db Malik Jones

February 2, 2026 - The San Diego Strike Force have signed defensive back Malik Jones. Jones (6'2, 180 lbs) joins San Diego after spending the 2025 season with the Jacksonville Sharks, where he emerged as a productive playmaker in the secondary. In 2025, Jones totaled 37 tackles, one tackle for loss, four interceptions, and nine pass breakups, while also contributing in multiple phases. Pirates Sign DB Ro Torrence

February 1, 2026 - ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Pirates of the Indoor Football League have signed defensive back Ro Torrence for the 2026 season. Torrence brings NFL experience to the Pirates, having signed and taken part in OTAs and minicamp with the Seattle Seahawks in 2024 as an undrafted free agent and then joining the practice squad of the Chicago Bears the same season. Shyheim Battle to the CFL

January 30, 2026 - Jacksonville, FL - The Jacksonville Sharks are pleased to announce that DB Shyheim Battle is taking the next step in his professional career, signing with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Battle is the fourth player from the '26 roster to make a move to the CFL.
