
Pirates Game at Bluefield Postponed

Bristol State Liners News Release
The series opener between the Bristol Pirates and Bluefield Blue Jays scheduled for Tuesday night has been postponed due to rain. It is the third game this season for Bristol to be either postponed or suspended due to rain. The game will be made up on Wednesday as a doubleheader, with first pitch for Game 1 scheduled for 5 p.m. Oliver Garcia is the scheduled starter for the Pirates, entering tomorrow's game with a 0-3 record and 9.00 ERA with 14 strikeouts over 18 innings.
