
Iowa Energy Acquire Traevon Jackson and Ramon Harris

Des Moines, Iowa. - The Iowa Energy have acquired guard Traevon Jackson from the NBA D-League available player pool, the team announced today. The team also acquired forward Ramon Harris from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. In exchange, the Energy will trade the returning rights for Larry Owens to Fort Wayne. The trade is pending successful completion of physicals.
Jackson (6-3, 207) averaged 7.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 109 games (84 starts) for the Wisconsin Badgers. Jackson went undrafted in the 2015 NBA Draft and played in six NBA Summer League games for the Washington Wizards.
Harris (6-7, 220) has averaged 4.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 22 games (no starts) for Fort Wayne this season. Harris went undrafted out of Kentucky in the 2010 NBA Draft and holds career D-League averages of 6.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 153 career games (41 starts).
