
Hillsboro Hops Unveil "Barley" as Team Mascot

Hillsboro, OR - The Hillsboro Hops (@HillsboroHops) unveiled their team mascot during tonight's home game against the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes.
The name "Barley" was chosen from the over 700 names that were submitted through a contest coordinated by the Hops and the Hillsboro School District.
Five students who suggested the name "Barley" were on hand at tonight's game and took part in the on-field festivities revealing the name and identity for the official mascot of the Hillsboro Hops. Each of the students will receive two season tickets to the Hops home games for the rest of this season.
Barley will appear at all future Hillsboro Hops home games and at select community appearances.
