Fayetteville, NC --- The Fayetteville Guard cut the ribbon on their administrative offices at the Clarion Prince Charles Hotel this afternoon, making their residence on Hay Street official. Team head offices sit promptly in the front of the hotel lobby, immediately on the left as you enter from Hay Street.

"The Clarion Prince Charles Hotel is honored to have the Fayetteville Guard home office based in our hotel," said Amber Graner, director of operations for the hotel. "What a privilege it is to work and support such fine players, staff, coaches and owners. We hope to develop an enduring and growing relationship and wish them the best of luck and many successes."

The Fayetteville Guard, of the National Indoor Football Team, is owned by Richard King and Stevie Ammons, both were born and raised in Fayetteville. The Guard is the area's only professional football team and the only NIFL team in the tri-state area.

"We're excited about our inaugural season," Ammons said. "It promises to be exciting and a crowd pleaser."

The Guard will launch its home opener this weekend at The Crown Coliseum against the Odessa Roughnecks. Kick-off is 7:05 p.m. with family-oriented tailgating starting at 3 p.m. with local and regional musical talent and kid-friendly activities. Game day tickets for April 2nd and all seven home games are available at the Crown Coliseum ticket box office or by calling 432-4100. Log onto www.fayettevilleguard.com for more information.
