Bird, McKinney Continue Rehab in Trenton

Trenton Thunder News Release

The New York Yankees have made a move affecting the Thunder roster.

- INF Greg Bird - Transfer of MLB Rehab from Tampa to Trenton

- OF Billy McKinney - Transfer of MLB Rehab from Tampa to Trenton

- RHP Jonathan Loaisiga - Placed on 7-Day DL (Blister)

The moves leave the Thunder with 24 active players on the roster which is one shy of the Eastern League maximum.

The 2018 season, the 25th in franchise history, continues tonight at ARM & HAMMER Park. RHP Dillon Tate gets the ball for the Thunder tonight, LHP Matt Whitehouse will go for the Akron RubberDucks. Pre-game coverage begins on 1040 AM WCHR at 6:40pm with Jon Mozes and Spenser Smith. The game will also be available online at www.trentonthunder.com/broadcast
