Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough made the announcements.

Miller, 23, has 10 goals and 18 assists in 36 games this season for the Wichita Thunder of the ECHL. The native of Redvers, SK attended the Monarchs' training camp before his release on Oct. 8. Miller put up 20 points (6 goals, 14 assists) in 55 games for the ECHL's Fort Wayne Comets last season. He made his AHL debut in 2012-13, appearing in six games for Chicago. The 6-foot forward tallied 117 points (60 goals, 57 assists) in 242 games in the WHL between Spokane, Calgary and Moose Jaw.

Hughesman has appeared in 35 games this season for the Reading Royals of the ECHL, recording 31 points (12 goals, 19 assists). The 23-year-old was released from Manchester's training camp on Oct. 8. He spent his first two professional years with the Las Vegas Wranglers, leading them in the 2013-14 campaign with 45 points (21 goals, 24 assists) in 61 games. Prior to turning pro, Hughesman spent six seasons in the WHL as a member of the Tri-City Americans. The Winnipeg, MB native has a scholarship award in his name in the community of Kennewick, WA, given to an individual who demonstrates community involvement and volunteer work.

Howe, 24, was active for three games with the Monarchs, but did not appear in a game. The 24-year-old has combined for a 3.57 goals against average (32 GA/538 min.) in nine games between Utah and Reading in the ECHL.
