No-Hitter Highlights Winning Week 6

'Dads post 4-2 week capped with Sunday's no-no

HICKORY, NC - A normal week for the Hickory Crawdads was transformed into something special Sunday evening, as the 'Dads no-hit the Delmarva Shorebirds en route to sweeping their doubleheader and posting a winning week.

Luis Parra, Keone Kela, Ryan Bores and Alexander Claudio combined to throw the first Crawdads no-hitter since 2009 when the quartet shutout the Shorebirds in game two of Hickory's doubleheader on Sunday. The no-no followed a dominant 7-inning complete game from C.J. Edwards in game one, with the Crawdads' ace allowing just one hit in the victory.
