Bradenton Marauders News Release

Bradenton, Fla. - The Bradenton Marauders host the St. Lucie Mets at McKechnie Field for a three-game series starting on Friday, April 12. The Mets eliminated the Marauders from the 2011 playoffs and posted the Florida State League's best record in 2012. The series features the first of five concerts in the first ever Marauders Concert Series, a postgame performance by Tampa rock group Pitbull Toddler.

Friday, April 12 is a Happy Hour Friday presented by Pier 22 Restaurant. Between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. there will be 500 free hot dogs given away at the outfield concessions stand and $1 domestic drafts and $1 fountain sodas from Kayem and Cheney Brothers at the Kona Bar built by NDC Construction and the Yuengling Plaza Bar.

After the game on Saturday, April 13, Pitbull Toddler will perform on the right field boardwalk. A ticket to the game is required to attend the concert. The band has been performing since 2008, and is made up of members from the Cowhead Show, a fixture on Tampa radio for more than two decades.

The series concludes Sunday, April 14. All Sunday games at McKechnie Field are Wendy's Family Fun Sundays, meaning all tickets are only $1 and regular-size Kayem hot dogs cost only $1. Tickets must be purchased at the McKechnie Field ticket office to get the $1 pricing. After Sunday games, children 13 and younger can run the bases in the Kids Fun Run presented by Mosaic.

The Marauders are offering a Premium Pack this season. The Premium Pack includes tickets to every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday game for $125. The Premium Pack can be purchased at the McKechnie Field ticket office, by calling 941-747-3031, or online at www.BradentonMarauders.com .

The McKechnie Field ticket office is open on non-game days from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Monday-Friday and closed on weekend non-game days. On Monday-Saturday game days, the ticket office opens at 1:00 p.m. and closes at the conclusion of the game. On Sunday game days and special games with 10 a.m. start times, the ticket office opens two hours prior to the game.

Parking for Bradenton Marauders games is located in the Boys and Girls Club lot north of the stadium and accessible from 9th Street West. Fans with pre-purchased tickets in hand may enter the stadium through the gate in the back of the stadium. After entering through the back gate, fans must use the stairs in center field to access the boardwalk. Fans with special needs may use the elevator or gate in the right-field corner in lieu of using the stairs. Fans that need to purchase tickets, exchange their tickets, or pick tickets up at will-call must walk around to the ticket office at the front of the stadium near the main gates. The back gate will remain open for fans to return to their vehicles after the game. On games when there is a promotional giveaway, the giveaway item will be available at both gates.
