Mavericks' F Kenton Miller Named CHL's Player of the Week

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced Monday Missouri Mavericks' forward Kenton Miller has been named the Oakley CHL Player of the Week for the final week of the regular season.
Miller led the Mavericks to a 3-1-0 record and had five goals in the first three games of the week including two multiple-goal performances. He finished with a total of eight points (5-38) in the four games and had a +2 rating.
The Redvers, Saskatchewan native broke the Mavericks' single-season record for goals in a season with his 30th goal in the Mavericks 4-0 win over the Allen Americans on Saturday night. He finished second on the team in scoring with 51 points (30-2151) in 53 games played.

The Missouri Mavericks will face the Rapid City Rush in the opening round of the 2013 Central Hockey League (CHL) playoffs. The series will start on Fri., March 29 in Rapid City and will follow a 2-3-2 format. The fifth-seeded Mavericks will host games three, four and five (if necessary) at Independence Events Center on April 3, 5 and 6.
