
Missouri's Kenton Miller Named Oakley CHL Player of the Week

GLENDALE, AZ (March 25, 2013) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Missouri Mavericks forward Kenton Miller has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the period ending March 24, 2013.

Miller scored five times (including a pair of game winning goals) and added three assists in four games this past week helping his team to a 3-1 record. The rookie broke the Mavericks single season record for goals in a season and is the first rookie since the 2008-09 season (Laredo's Darryl Smith) to score 30+ goals in a season.
The Redvers, Saskatchewan native had a pair of three point night where he scored a pair of goals, had an assist and was a +2 for Missouri (Wednesday at Bloomington and Saturday at Allen).
On the season, Miller is tied for second among all rookies with 51 points (30-21=51).
