Raise a Glass with the Wolves at Ram Brewery in Schaumburg
February 4, 2013 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Chicago Wolves News Release
The Chicago Wolves host their third Beer Tasting Fundraiser from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the RAM Restaurant and Brewery in Schaumburg.
Wolves fans can sample the RAM's finest microbrews, socialize with several Chicago Wolves players, win prizes and participate in auctions and raffles.
Defensemen ZACH MISKOVIC and DEREK JOSLIN, forwards ANDREW GORDON, MICHAEL DAVIES and DARREN ARCHIBALD, goaltender MATT CLIMIE and assistant coach NOLAN BAUMGARTNER will take part in the festivities at the RAM.
"I think one of the things that's great about this is the casual, comfortable setting," said Courtney Mahoney, the team's Senior Vice President of Operations. "You really get to interact with the players.
There's a level of familiarity too. A lot of these fans, the players recognize them, and they already have a rapport."
The auction items include several autographed game-worn jerseys, the chance to enjoy lunch with CLIMIE and MISKOVIC, and the chance to win a hockey, dinner, and beer package deal. Fans also can participate in the Fundraiser's new "Wolves Roulette" game operated by BAUMGARTNER, which includes such prizes as autographed pucks and player cards.
Seats are available for fans at least 21 years of age and can be reserved for a $45 donation by calling 1-800-THE-WOLVES. Proceeds from the event benefit Chicago Wolves Charities, which works with more than a dozen Illinois-based charities.
