IceCaps Release 2012-13 Hockey Card Set

The St. John's IceCaps announced today that the club's 2012-13 hockey card set is now available.

The set features 26 players and three limited edition cards: Buddy the Puffin, a team photo card and a 'We Stand Together' logo card. Each package of cards will contain one randomly-inserted limited edition card.

The cards are uniform-numbered and include the following players: Travis Ramsey, Paul Postma, Jason King, Derek Meech, Alex Burmistrov, Kevin Clark, Spencer Machacek, Aaron Gagnon, Eric O'Dell, Jason Jaffray, John Albert, Jason Gregoire, Ben Chiarot, Ivan Telegin, Will O'Neill, Zach Redmond, Max Macenauer, Ray Sawada, Patrice Cormier, Dean Arsene, Mark Dekanich, Hunter Tremblay, Eddie Pasquale, Julian Melchiori, Carl Klingberg and Ben Maxwell.

The set retails for $12.95 plus HST, with a dollar from every purchase going to KidSport, a charitable organization that provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport.

The collectible cards are available at IceCaps Alley at Mile One Centre, and various North Atlantic Orangestores throughout the province. Participating Orangestore locations in St. John's include: Thorburn Road, Pennywell Road, Water Street, Torbay Road, Topsail Road, Kenmount Road (Crossroads), while other metro-area locations include Manuels, Kelligrews and Commonwealth Avenue in Mount Pearl. Cards can also be purchased at Orangestores on High Street in Port aux Basques, O'Connell Drive in Corner Brook, the Trans-Canada Highway in Clarenville and Blockhouse Road in Placentia.

The IceCaps look to extend their three-game home winning streak when they host the Worcester Sharks Tuesday at Mile One Centre for the first of two games. The back half of the two-game set goes Wednesday, with puck drop scheduled for 7:30 p.m. both nights.
