EARLY RISERS
Chicago hosts Peoria on Tuesday in its final School-Day game of the season; the Wolves have posted a 7-2-0-0 mark in School-Day games since 2009-10 and have outscored their opponents 26-11 in their nine morning tilts over the last four seasons; both of the team's morning games this year have been shutouts (1-1-0-0).
WOLVES HEADLINES
--- DARREN ARCHIBALD: Paced Chicago with 3 assists and 3 points in two games last week to snap an eight-game scoreless skid ... His 3 helpers were his first assists of the season after scoring 6 goals in his first 19 contests with the Wolves ... Holds fifth on the team with 6 markers and has posted 9 points in 21 games this season ... Began the 2012-13 campaign with the ECHL's Kalamazoo Wings, collecting 13 points (6G, 7A) in 18 games
--- ERIC KATTELUS: Scored a goal in both of the Wolves tilts last week, which marked his first two AHL tallies ... Registered 2 goals and 6 penalty minutes while appearing in nine straight contests since being signed by Chicago on Jan. 8 ... Accumulated 13 goals, 19 assists, and 32 points in 34 games with the ECHL's Kalamazoo Wings before joining Chicago
--- BRAD HUNT: Dished out a helper in both of Chicago's games last week after notching 2 assists in his last six outings ... Shares first on the Wolves with 18 assists and third with 20 points ... His 18 helpers and 20 points rank sixth among AHL rookie blueliners ... Represented Chicago in the 2013 AHL All-Star game, where he scored a goal in the contest
--- JOE CANNATA: Posted a career-high 40 saves while facing a career-most 42 shots on Friday... Appeared in seven AHL games as a rookie this season, registering a 4-3-0 mark with a 2.09 goals-against average and .927 save percentage ... Allowed two or fewer goals in six of his seven outings this season ... Registered a 2-3-0 record with a 3.62 goals-against average and .892 save percentage in five ECHL games with Kalamazoo this season before joining Chicago on Nov. 27
WOLF TRACKS
--- The Wolves have been perfect on the penalty kill in six of their last eight games and they have surrendered just 10 power-play goals on 70 chances since Dec. 1 (85.7%), which is the fewest man-advantage goals allowed in the AHL during that time; Chicago's 70 power-play opportunities against also are the fewest in the league since Dec. 1; the team holds 22nd in the AHL with a 81.2 efficiency rating on the penalty kill (121 of 149).
--- The Wolves sit in second place in the Midwest Division and 10th place overall in the Western Conference with 47 points in 41 tilts (21-15-3-2); the team's 41 games are the fewest played in the AHL and it holds at least two games in hand on 12 of the other 14 teams in the Western Conference.
--- Center ALEX FRIESEN bagged his first career AHL goal on Friday; the 22-year-old center has tallied 4 points (G, 3A) in 32 games this season; he also has been a plus or even rating in 19 straight contests.
--- Chicago lit the lamp four times in the first period on Friday, its highest goal output in a period this year; the Wolves have only scored four markers in a period three times dating back to the start of the 2011-12 season.
POW, POW, POWER WHEELS
--- Three of Chicago's eight goals last week came on the power-play after the team failed to score on the man-advantage in its previous two tilts; the Wolves, who has bagged at least one man-advantage marker in 12 of its last 16 outings, ranks 14th in the league with a 16.7 conversion rate on the power play this year (27 of 162).

--- The Wolves rallied from a 3-0 deficit, but surrendered a power-play goal with 60 seconds left and then an empty-net tally as they dropped a 5-3 Illinois Lottery Cup decision to the Peoria Rivermen Saturday night at the Allstate Arena
--- Forwards ERIC KATTELUS, ANDREW GORDON, and ANTON RODIN scored for Chicago
--- Goaltender JOE CANNATA stopped 28 of 32 shots

--- The Wolves jumped out to a 5-0 lead and skated away with a 5-2 Amtrak Rivalry win over the Milwaukee Admirals at the Bradley Center
--- Forwards MICHAEL DAVIES (G, A), GUILLAUME DESBIENS (G, A), and DARREN ARCHIBALD (2A) each netted multiple-points
--- Goaltender JOE CANNATA kicked out a career-high 40 shots
