Trenton Titans Announce December Promotions

December 13, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL)
Trenton Titans News Release

TRENTON, NJ - The Trenton Titans, ECHL member and proud affiliate of the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers, have a huge weekend of home games coming up with Atlantic Division foes Wheeling (December 14th at 7:05 pm), Elmira (15th, 7:05) and the first ever meeting and visit to the Sun National Bank Center with the Orlando Solar Bears (16th, 3:05). But the last home stand before Christmas isn't just big for the Titans, as the fans have a lot to look forward to as well.

Friday December 14 - Not only is it Anti-Bullying Night (presented by the Anti-Defamation League), but Hall of Famer and Flyers' legend Bernie Parent returns to the SNBC. He will be signing his new book, Journey Through Risk and Fear, as well as other memorabilia for a nominal fee. Autograph sessions will be on the SNBC concourse prior to the game with Wheeling and during the first intermission, with proceeds going to help the homeless in Philadelphia.

Saturday December 15 - It is Titans' Teddy Bear Toss Night to benefit St. Francis Medical Center. South Carolina recently had its Teddy Bear Night and collected 2,083 bears - WE CAN DO BETTER! So bring a new bear for a great cause. The Titans will also have a Coat Drive and have special ticket packages in place for the Elmira contest.

Sunday December 16 - Santa arrives at the SNBC for a visit. It is also Ugly Sweater and Andy Bohmbach Pin Giveaway Days. The Titans' Coat Drive continues and there will be a full team autograph session following the first ever meeting with Orlando.

Future promotions will include Pucks & Paws, Blades for Grades, Cancer Awareness, Military and Scout Nights in January, a book drive in February and much more.

The Trenton Titans returned in the 2011-12 hockey season after a five year hiatus and boasted a 26.1% increase in attendance over the previous year, the largest of any team in the (then) 20-team ECHL. For more information on promotions, team events or to purchase tickets for the 2012-13 season, call the Titans' offices at 609-341-1100, or go to TrentonTitansHockey.com.
