ECHL Announces Fines, Suspension

December 11, 2012 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release


PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Tuesday announced the following fines and suspension.

Trenton's Conboy fined and suspended

Trenton's Andrew Conboy has been suspended indefinitely and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #264, Trenton at Gwinnett, on Dec. 9.

Conboy was assessed a game misdonduct under Rule #53.4 at 8:31 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Evansville organization fined

The Evansville organization has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of a violation of Rule #56(a) in the ECHL Playing Rules.

Colorado's Marto fined

Colorado's Jake Marto has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #261, Colorado at San Francisco, on Dec. 8.

Marto was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for slashing under Rule #61.5 at 14:26 of the third period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Ontario's Kraemer fined

Ontario's Kyle Kraemer has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #266, Idaho at Ontario, on Dec. 9.

Kraemer was assessed a game misconduct under Rule #39.5 at 3:10 of overtime. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Fort Wayne's Henley fined

Fort Wayne's Brent Henley has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #265, Fort Wayne at Orlando, on Dec. 9.

Henley was assessed a game misconduct for aggressor under Rule #46.2 at 19:50 of the first period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Fort Wayne's Reiter fined

Fort Wayne's Ken Reiter has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions during ECHL Game #247, Fort Wayne at Orlando, on Dec. 7.

Reiter is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Fort Wayne's Schrock fined

Fort Wayne's Kaleigh Schrock has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of an equipment violation.

Schrock is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Utah's Armstrong fined

Utah's Riley Armstrong has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #262, Utah at Alaska, on Dec. 8.

Armstrong was assessed a game misconduct for aggressor under Rule #46.2 at 18:53 of the second period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
