Rebels Acquire Gaudet From Blazers
October 21, 2012 - Western Hockey League (WHL) Red Deer Rebels
RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, Owner/President/General Manager of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today they have acquired 18-year old defenceman Brady Gaudet from the Kamloops Blazers in exchange for a 3rd round selection in the 2013 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.Gaudet is in his third year in the WHL, and was the Blazers first round pick, 10th overall, in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft . He has played in 117 games with the Blazers, scoring 7 goals and 27 assists for 34 career points. Gaudet has also played 11 WHL playoff games and has 3 points. He's expected to be in the Rebels lineup on Tuesday when the Rebels host the Regina Pats, 7:00PM at the ENMAX Centrium.
