***END OF REGULAR SEASON***

Tonight's Game-- The RedHawks look to sweep the Albuquerque Isotopes out of town on the final $1 beer night of the season at 7:05 p.m.

Last Night-- The RedHawks used two big innings plus an outstanding night on the mound to pound the Albuquerque Isotopes, 11-0. Edgar Gonzalez, Enerio Del Rosario, and Garrett Mock limited the Isotopes to five hits with no walks and eight strikeouts. Gonzalez (4-3) went the first seven, scattering four hits with six strikeouts. Mike Hessman broke a scoreless tie with his 33rd home run of the season in the fourth inning. The RedHawks started to break things open with five runs in the sixth. J.D. Martinez knocked a two-run double, and two batters later, Angel Sanchez connected on a three-run homer. The RedHawks poured it on with five more in the eighth. Oklahoma City finished with 16 hits, seven for extra bases. Five players had multi-hit nights, including rehabbing Astros outfielder Jordan Schafer. Albuquerque pitcher Derrick Loop (11-4) left the game before it got ugly, but was charged with three runs and six hits over five-plus innings, striking out two with one walk.

Tonight's Probable Pitchers-- Brett Oberholtzer looks to lead the RedHawks to a series sweep...Oberholtzer has arguably been the RedHawks best pitcher this month, although his record doesn't reflect it...Over his last four starts, Oberholtzer has allowed just seven runs and 27 hits over 28.1 IP, posting a 2.22 ERA...However his record in those games is 1-3 because he has received a total of two runs of support in the three losses combined...On Saturday in Iowa, Oberholtzer gave up two runs over 6.2 innings, but the RedHawks scored just once in a 4-1 defeat...Oberholtzer has been particularly effective at home, turning in a quality start in each of his six outings...He is 4-1 with a 2.29 ERA at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and is limiting opponents to a .205 average...Oberholtzer faced Albuquerque once previously on April 30 in his Triple-A debut...He retired 10 of the first 11 batter he faced, but eventually allowed four runs over 5.1 innings and took the defeat...Former RedHawk Fernando Nieve will try and end the Isotopes' current losing skid...Nieve was on the mound for Albuquerque's last win when he held Memphis to two runs and four hits with a season-high nine strikeouts over six innings on Saturday...Nieve has won each of his last two road starts but is 3-4 with a 6.57 ERA away from Albuquerque this season...On May 27 in Albuquerque, Nieve held the RedHawks to one run and three hits over five innings, earning a win...Nieve made three starts early in 2011 for the RedHawks (1-2, 7.63) before going to play in Korea.

Super Shutout-- Last night the RedHawks tossed their fourth shutout of the season, and their first since a rain-shortened 2-0 blanking of Nashville on May 29. Their previous nine-inning shutout was a 1-0 win over Las Vegas on May 10. The Isotopes only had three runners in scoring position, with none advancing to third base.

Busting Out-- The RedHawks have scored 23 runs and notched 35 hits over the last three nights. They had scored 10 runs with 22 hits total over their previous four games. Last night's 16 hits was their highest hit total since a 16-hit attack against Iowa on July 24. They have scored at least four runs in an inning in each of the last three games and have done so a total of four times throughout the series.

Power's Back On-- The RedHawks have hit have hit seven home runs over the last four games. They had hit just 11 homers over the first 24 games of the month.

Climbing Back-- The RedHawks have gone 11-5 following their 10-game losing streak. They have pulled within 2.5 games of first place, making it the closest they've been since August 6.

No Sweat After Six-- Eight of the RedHawks' last 10 wins have come with them either tied or trailing in the seventh inning. (Tied-4, Trail-4)

Down to the Wire-- 11 of the RedHawks' last 13 games have been decided by three runs or less, with seven of those decided by two runs or less.

Promising Pitching-- Although the pitching staff struggled a lot following the All-Star Break, it has vastly improved of late. Over the last 20 games the team ERA is 2.72 (54 ER/179 IP). The starters have turned in 12 quality starts and posted a combined 2.47 ERA (32 ER/116.2 IP) with 81 strikeouts and 31 walks.

Keeping it in the Park-- The RedHawks have allowed just six dingers over the last 18 contests, spanning 162 IP. Opponents have not left the park in 36 consecutive innings.

End of an Era?-- Since the RedHawks end the season against Round Rock (Texas Rangers) and the Houston Astros moving to the American League in 2013, tonight could be final time pitchers bat in a RedHawks game for the foreseeable future.

Against the Isotopes-- The RedHawks have controlled this series, outscoring the Isotopes, 23-6...Albuquerque still owns the season series at 9-6 after taking three of four in each of the first three series...Over the first 12 games of the season series, the Isotopes averaged 7.2 runs per game and hit 19 homers...The last three days they have scored six times and have not hit a homer...Brad Snyder has led the way for the RedHawks, hitting .389 with two homers and 11 RBIs...Landon Powell has driven in nine over 10 contests.
