LHP Jose Jimenez Promoted to AAATacoma

JACKSON, TENN. (JULY 20, 2012) - The Seattle Mariners and Jackson Generals announce the following roster moves. LHP Jose Jimenez has been promoted to Triple-A Tacoma today help bolster the Rainiers bullpen. There has been no corresponding transaction, leaving the Generals roster at 24 players.
Promoted to Triple-A Tacoma:

JIMENEZ, 25, is the second Jackson reliever in two days to be promoted to Tacoma. Yesterday, RHP Jandy Sena was promoted to the Rainiers roster. Jimenez will be playing for his third team this season. Jimenez has made 35 relief appearances combined between A+ High Desert and AA Jackson this season, posting a 1-0 record, with a 3.82 ERA. Jimenez has tossed 35.1 innings, striking out 51, walking 26. Jimenez is a native of Bannas, Venezuela.
