Altoona Curve News Release
CURVE, Pa. - Former Altoona Curve players Andrew McCutchen (2006-07) and Jose Bautista (2005) will be playing for the Curve fans tonight in Home Run Derby, as the further they advance, the more fans can save on UPMC Health Plan Home Run Junction seats for the July 19th game versus Erie. The Home Run Derby takes place tonight from Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. and begins at 8 p.m. ET and will be televised live on ESPN and ESPN HD.
If either McCutchen, who is participating in his first Home Run Derby and leads the Pirates with 18 home runs, or Bautista, who leads all of Major League Baseball with 27 long balls, are able to advance past the first round in tonight's completion, fans will receive a $1 discount on tickets in the UPMC Health Plan Home Run Junction bleacher section (located in home run territory at Peoples Natural Gas Field). Should both McCutchen and Bautista both advance out of the first round, fans can take $2 off UPMC Health Plan HR Junction seats.
