THE HILLCATS: Last night, the Hillcats beat the Winston-Salem Dash 3-2 in 13 innings...The game was scoreless through seven innings last night as neither starter surrendered a run...The Dash struck first when 1B Cyle Hankerd hit a solo homer in the seventh...Winston-Salem added another in the eighth before LF Adam Milligan tied the game with a two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth...In the 13th inning RF David Rohm doubled off the left field wall to bring home 3B Bobby Stevens for the walk-off win...The Hillcats are now 7-6 in the second half and in first place in the Northern Division...

A BRILLIANT STRIKE: Lynchburg's walk-off win in the 13th inning last night makes them 2-4 in extra time...They no longer hold the worst record in the league...Frederick is last in the circuit at 2-6, while the 'Cats are tied for sixth with Winston-Salem...

ONLY TEN I SEE: OF Adam Milligan has 10 hits in his last 10 games after going 2-for-6 with a double and a two-run homer last night...The long ball was his second in as many games, and he now has 7 in 44 games with Lynchburg...The Morristown, TN native is currently on a four-game hitting streak...Hitting .375 (6-for-16) with a double, two home runs, three RBI, and four runs scored in the stretch...
