The Chicago White Sox have announced the following moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:
- RHP Ryan Buch promoted to Winston-Salem from Low-A Kannapolis
- RHP J.R. Ballinger promoted to Triple-A Charlotte from Winston-Salem
- RHP Matt Heidenreich promoted to Double-A Birmingham from Winston-Salem
Buch is back in Winston-Salem after going 4-5 with a 5.98 ERA in 13 appearances (10 starts) with the Dash. He had been with Low-A Kannapolis, where he threw 10 innings and allowed just one run.
Since being activated off the disabled list in late April, Ballinger has gone 0-2 with a 4.70 earned run average in 16 appearances. This is Ballinger's second trip to Triple-A after appearing in one game with the Knights last year.
