MOBILE, Ala.- The Mobile BayBears (41-31,1-1) scored five in the seventh and three in the eighth to erase a 6-2 deficit and beat the Biscuits (37-33,1-1) 10-7 Friday night at Hank Aaron Stadium.

Chris Owings' two-out bases-clearing double against Alex Koronis (1-2) in the seventh gave the BayBears their first lead of the series at 7-6. The Biscuits tied the game on a two-out single from Ty Morrison in the top of the eighth, but the BayBears quickly responded with three against Koronis in the bottom of the eighth to secure the win. Alfredo Marte's RBI-single in that frame proved to be the game-winner on a night where the BayBears went 6-12 with runners in scoring position.

The Biscuits had raced out to a 6-2 lead through five behind a pair of two-run doubles from Greg Sexton. Kyle Lobstein had allowed only a pair of solo homers through six innings, but wound up getting tagged with all five runs in the seventh and gave up seven runs total on the night.

Eury De La Rosa (3-2) earned the win for the BayBears, pitching just two-thirds of an inning. Evan Marshall (15) locked down the save despite the Biscuits bringing the tying run to the dish in the ninth.

Tyler Bortnick and Mike Sheridan joined Sexton with two hits to lead a 13-hit attack for the Biscuits.

RHP Jake Thompson will take the ball for the Biscuits in the middle game of the series Saturday against Mobile LHP David Holmberg.
