The IronPigs (41-30) play the finale of a four-game series against the third-place Toledo Mud Hens (31-41) at Fifth Third Field... With a 2-1 win last night, the Pigs have again tied their season-best, high-water mark of 11 games above .500 and have started 2-1 on this eight-game West Division road trip. The Pigs have now won 10 of their last 14 games and have gone 13-6 in their last 19 contests... The Mud Hens -- Detroit's top affiliate -- have gone just 4-13 in their last 17 affairs. After starting 22-17, the Hens are just 9-25 (.265) since May 16...
RHP Matt Wright (0-1, 2.13) will start for LHV against RHP Brooks Brown (1-2, 4.70).
First-Pitch is at 7:00 p.m... Following the game, the Pigs will be at the half-way point of 2012... The Pigs will next head to Columbus and start a four-game series at Huntington Park on Friday night at 7:05 p.m.
WITH A WIN TONIGHT, THE PIGS...:
* Will set a new high-water mark of 12 games above .500 -- their highest mark since ending the 2011 season at 80-64.
* Win the road series, 3-1... LHV has only won one 4-game road series (5/11-14 @ LOU, 3-1) and is 2-4-3 overall in road series.
* Win back-to-back road series for the first time in 2012 (6/9-11 @ SYR, 2-1) and since 5/30/11-6/6/11 (@ GWN, 3-1; @ CHA, 3-1).
