Oklahoma City, Okla. -- For the second straight game, the Oklahoma City RedHawks (16-8) used a six-run inning to pull away from the Round Rock Express (10-14), winning 9-4 before 3,879 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark Sunday afternoon. With the win, the RedHawks took three of four from the Express and finished the eight-game home stand with a 4-4 record.

Tied 1-1 heading into the fifth inning, the RedHawks took control with six runs. After a flyout to start the inning, six straight RedHawks reached base, with five notching hits. J.B. Shuck and Angel Sanchez drove in the first two runs, and Scott Moore and Brad Snyder brought home two each. It was the third time in the series the RedHawks scored at least six runs in an inning.

The RedHawks kept it going in the sixth, piling on two more runs and five more hits. For the second straight inning, Shuck and Sanchez provided back-to-back RBI knocks to extend the lead to 9-2.

Shuck collected three hits to follow up five-hit night Saturday. After sitting the first two games of the series, Shuck went 8-for-10 over the final two contests. Sanchez, Moore, and Mike Hessman each had multi-hit games as well.

The RedHawks were hot at the plate the entire series, putting 34 runs and 51 hits on the scoreboard over four games.

The exorbitant run support was more than enough for starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel, who tossed his fifth consecutive quality start. Keuchel (4-1) allowed two runs--one earned--and eight hits with a walk and three strikeouts over 6.1 innings. He left with the bases loaded and one out in the seventh, but Xavier Cedeno got Matt Kata to hit into an inning-ending double play to end the threat.

Round Rock pitcher Greg Reynolds (1-3) allowed season highs with eight runs and 10 hits over 5.1 innings. He struck out and walked two each.

The RedHawks will hit the road for eight games, beginning tomorrow night in Albuquerque. Tomorrow's first pitch is scheduled for 7:35 p.m. Central, with live coverage starting at 7:05 p.m. on 1340 AM The Game, 1340thegame.com, and through the IHeartRadio app. The RedHawks return home Tuesday, May 8 against the Las Vegas 51s.
