DUBUQUE, Iowa - As the Fighting Saints celebrate Fan Appreciation Night on Saturday, the team will also take time to recognize the many game night staff members who are an integral part of the Fighting Saints experience. On an average game night, the Fighting Saints count on nearly 30 outside staff members from Sedona Staffing to handle responsibilities such as ushering, ticket-taking, security, and general fan services, among other areas. In addition, the Mystique Community Ice Center fields a staff of around 20 members each game night, with their employees, both full- and part-time, concentrating on concessions and arena operations.

Throughout the season, the Fighting Saints have instituted the 'Saintly Service Program', in which 10 fans each game night have been designated as 'secret shoppers' upon arriving at the Mystique Community Ice Center. Each fan is given a Saintly Service pin and instructions to present it to a member of the game night staff who provides exceptional service to the customer.

"The Saintly Service Program is a way to help identify those employees who consistently provide outstanding service to our guests," said Fighting Saints President Dan Lehv. "Through the support of our partners at the Mystique Community Ice Center and Sedona Staffing, we're fortunate to have game night staff members that share our passion for making the Fighting Saints experience fun, friendly and safe for all guests. They are our front line and help set the tone for the type of experience our fans will have on any given night."

On Saturday, game night staff members will have an opportunity to enter a drawing for cash and Fighting Saints merchandise. The number of a staff member's entries will correspond to the number of pins that he or she has received throughout the season. The first prize winner will receive $500 and a team-signed jersey, the second-prize winner $250 and a team-signed puck, and the third-prize winner will win $100 cash.

The puck will drop at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday as the Fighting Saints face off against the Muskegon Lumberjacks to close out the regular season. Tickets for the game are available by phone at (563) 583-6880 and in person at the Mystique Community Ice Center from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on game night up until the start of the second period. Tickets are available 24 hours a day online at DubuqueFightingSaints.com.
