
Union enjoy bye week after earning first point of 2012 season

Chester, Pa. (April 2, 2012) - After earning their first point of the 2012 season over the weekend against the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Philadelphia Union head into a bye week, returning to game action on April 14 against the Columbus Crew at PPL Park.
The Union snapped a three-match losing streak on Saturday against the Whitecaps, earning a 0-0 draw in front of a crowd of 17,189 at PPL Park. The result gives Zac MacMath and Philadelphia's defense a clean sheet for the first time in 2012.
The Union begin the 2012 Reserve League season on Monday, April 9th, hosting the New England Revolution Reserves at 10:00 a.m. at Chester Park in Wallingford, Pa. The Reserve League schedule will be released in its entirety at a later date.
