
Two Roughnecks Honoured for Weekend Sweep

Calgary, AB - The National Lacrosse League has announced that Calgary Roughnecks forward Shawn Evans and transition Peter McFetridge have received Weekly Player Awards for Week 10 of the 2012 season.
Evans, voted the Offensive Player of the Week, scored six goals, including one on a penalty shot, added two assists and collected a total of seven loose balls to help Calgary sweep last weekend's series with the Edmonton Rush.
McFetridge, selected as Transition Player of the Week, finished with three goals, two assists and scooped up 11 loose balls in the weekend series. All five of his points were scored during Saturday's 16-9 home win for a new career single-game high.
Calgary returns to action when they welcome the Buffalo Bandits on Saturday, March 24 at 7:00 p.m.
